This project focuses on raising awareness and advocacy for mini-grid development, productive and efficient use of electricity. The project duration is of 24 months (Oct 2016 to Awareness Raising and Advocacy for Scaling-up Renewable Energy Mini-Grids to Enhance Rural Electrification and Sustainable Development in TanzaniaSept 2018). The geographical coverage of the project isfor MG stakeholder’s national wide and to selected pilot districts of Chalinze, Manyara, Kongwa and Muheza.

The main objective of this project is to scale-up investments, demand for electricity in off-grid areas and energy conservation through mini-grid awareness raising campaigns and advocacy in Tanzania. The project strives to fulfil the following specific outcomes:-
